Covenant of Free Evangelical Congregations in the Netherlands : ウィキペディア英語版 | Covenant of Free Evangelical Congregations in the Netherlands The Covenant of Free Evangelical Congregations in the Netherlands (Dutch: ''Bond van Vrije Evangelische Gemeenten'', abbreviated VEG) is a Reformed denomination in the Netherlands. The Free Evangelical Congregations was founded in 1882 and was influenced by Methodism and the Revival Movement. It objected to liberal theology and the state influence of the church, but rejected Reformed confessionalism. In 1993 ten congregations left the Free Evangelical Congregations, and removed to independency. It has a Facolty in Utrecht. The denomination begun to collaborate with the Netherlands Reformed Congregations and the Dutch Reformed Church.
